Well....That maybe true but I think it is because the wife put the thought in his head;-) Since our family is growing at a rate much faster than our house, it was important for us to find a good and cheap way to maximize our space. We had been researching bunk beds online and seeing what our best options were. Finally, we realized it would be best if we (and by we, I mean Josh and his dad) built them ourselves. This way we were sure to have the sturdiest beds around and the cheapest. (But not cheaply made) I'm positive that a tornado could pass through and the safest spot may be on the bottom bunk. They did a very good job and had some serious father-son bonding time. They enjoyed their time together.
