Mom/Son Date Knight

Tonight Tucker and I had reservations at Chick-Fil-A for a mother/son date night.  We were under the impression that since it was spelled knight that he was supposed to dress up as a knight. Well....let's just say Tucker won best dressed.  No one else even dressed up.  The workers saw him come in from the outside and were impressed with his outfit.  They all stopped what they were doing to come check him out and give high 5's.  The restaurant had the back section closed off and had all the tables set up.  Tuck and I sat at the table and had a waitor come take our order and bring us food.  They had someone there making crowns and swords out of balloons.  It was a very impressive.  I think this maybe something we continue to do.  Kids of all ages are invited to come.  In the fall they may have dad/daughter date night. Check your city because Chick-fil-a does this in citites all over the US.

 My knight in shining armor

 A kiss from my knight

This was how our dinner came.

 A crown for my knight.

They had roses that they gave each son to give to his mom.

...and nothing caps off a good date night with your son like a new Captain America t-shirt.  We did have a fun night and it was especially good for us to spend some one on one time together.
