Tonight was our last Christmas celebration for the year. We spent the evening with dad & Barbara, (my) mamaw and papaw, my sisters and their families. We enjoyed a big dinner opening presents and a big family game of Catch Phrase.
Dad & Barbara have started a new tradition a few years ago. Every other year our Christmas present is a paid vacation. By this, I mean, they rent a house on a beach and we all (WE ALL) go down and enjoy the week together. Two years ago we went to Destin (Florida). This year (we think) we are headed out East, details not finalized yet. Since this year is a vacation year, the presents we get are limited but themed. All the kids got new sleeping bags and all the couples got a new beach bag with beach related items: boogie boards, monogramed beach bags, sun tan lotion, candy, toe nail polish, sunglasses, etc. We are ready to rock.
After dinner Paislee went to the little kid table to finish up all the tea. She was trying to help them out;-) She thought she was big stuff climbing up and down the chairs by herself.

When they put the kids presents in the middle Paislee thought they were climbing blocks for her. So she did her thing and started climbing.

Do you like my new sunglasses? These will help to not burn my face. They are a little small for my face.
Chaney and Tucker insisted on helping grandma with her presents. I guess one present wasn't enough for them.
Thanks Dad and Barbara for a fun evening. We are looking forward to a fun vacation.
