...OH MY! Ok, well no lions but we did see tigers and bears. Today we loaded up in mamaw & papaw's {new} car and headed down to Greensburg to Circle S Ranch. They have many different types of animals spread over 32 acres. We were able to see Bonnie and Clyde (camels), donkeys, Yogi & Boo-Boo (bears), llamas, buffalo, wolves and many other kinds of animals...although we didn't get pictures of everything. This ranch was a nice place to go because the kids were able to get closer to the animals and feed them. We were also able to hold and spend time with a tiger cub.

This is Bell. She is 10 weeks old and weighs in at about 18-20 lbs.

Notice the size of her paws

Paislee wanted to get her hands on Bell so bad. Pk is still at the fearless stage, this will soon change.

She liked having her belly rubbed

She was tired, can you tell?

Chaney feeding the buffalo

Yogi (appropriate name, right?)

Yogi & Boo-Boo

This guy is about 9-10 years old and weighs about 2000 lbs. He is huge! His face and neck doubled the size of any other buffalo in that pin.

Tuck feeding the rams

While Chaney was feeding the rams, the ring leader (the one eating from their scoop) was pushing everyone else out of the way then got his horn totally wrapped around the fence. He was an ornery thing.

These were the older tiger cubs. These were about 6 months old and still are very playful and fun to watch.

So...I saved the funny/humiliating part for last. We took a tractor ride around the ranch and they stopped along the way for us to get out and pet/feed the animals. At the end of the tour we stopped so we could see the donkeys/llamas/elk. The guy warned us that the llamas would spit. Growing up on a dairy farm, I am pretty used to big(ger) animals and am not usually intimidated by them. Paislee and I go toward the llamas pin and we hear them making noises. I've never been around llama's so I wasn't familiar with what the "spit sound" was....let's just say....I now know. Paislee and I got spit on by a llama. It could be the grossest thing I have ever experienced. It was a nasty brown color and it was in our hair, clothes, face...ugh!
That is SO gross! :-) And you know it's bad when a mother of three says it's the grossest thing she's ever experienced!
