As I sit here on this Wednesday morning our 3 oldest are playing Playdoh, the littlest is sitting on my bed talking to me, I'm watching Hoda & Kathie Lee (my guilty pleasure each day) and it is snowing outside. It feels like forever since I have posted anything of some substance so I will try to catch you up on what is (or has) going on. We are spending alot of these winter days inside. Since Rigley is almost 3 months old and it is now mid-January I really don't want to take four little ones out. We do our best to stay entertained and drive ourselves crazy all at the same time. We did get a Kinnect so we do spend our evenings as a family playing games and looking crazy....but we are making memories.
Last Wednesday night we had a first for our family. We had three kids come down with the stomach flu at one time. Yes, three puking kids. Tucker started at 10, Chaney at 1 (am) then Paislee. Baths at 5 am and cleaning floors all through the night. So far, I can say the only downfall of having a big family is when three kids decide to puke at the same time. I ended up getting in Thursday during the day. We thought Josh was in the clear but he came down with it Saturday evening. Yuck! I think we have finally gotten over the hump. Rigley seems to be going strong.
Rigley is growing like a weed and is doing more each day. He loves to lay on the floor and watch his siblings and watch some cartoons with them.
Paislee is asserting her independence and talking more and more and more (yes, sometimes it drives us crazy). A few of her sayings right now that make us laugh are apple juice sounds like happy juice and when she says baby Elmo it sounds like baby homo. These always bring a smile to our face.
Tucker is our little breakdancer in training. He is constantly trying to pick fights with his sisters and wants to wrestle all the time.
Chaney is our new make-up model. Each day the first thing she does is change clothes and get her make-up on. (I have no idea where she gets this.)
I have decided I can't take another winter in my cracker jack box house so we are making plans to get out. These plans may take a year or so (lets hope not for my sanity sake). We will do alot of praying and wait for God's leading.
Last, but not least, we have been doing some rearranging of stuff on our computer and getting new software and such. In going through pictures I grabbed some out of all four kids to see who looks like who at this stage. The pics below range anywhere from the 2 month mark to the 4 month mark.
