What a B-U-tiful day for the orchard. In fact, the kids got so hot I wish I had put them in shorts. There was not a cloud in the sky and the weather was perfect for a day outside. Jaclyn and the boy crew met us at Tuttles Orchard. For the last three years we have met there to let the kids play and we pick pumpkins. The kids love to play in the mazes, tractors, straw stacks and lots of other fun things. We even enjoyed apple slushies...that makes a day at the orchard complete!

Chaney on the straw stack, I think she was making a face at someone....me!

The oldest four, not sure if you can tell they are related.

They had a sunflower maze. With all of the browns of fall (and drought) it was nice to see bright colors.

In the play area they had some of their larger pumpkins for the kids to play with. Chaney really thought she was going to be able to move this. She did not succeed.

I think I said "smile" thinking my kids would turn and look at me. I guess the llama heard me, I really think he is smiling.

The boys are on a mission to find the perfect pumpkin.
Chaney & Tucker were trying to find a pumpkin for Paislee. If you look close you can see they are looking at a white pumpkin. I think it was a gourd but it was white. I just called it an albino pumpkin. They thought it was just her size and it was but it was WHITE. We picked another for her.
Every pumpkin that Hank picked was double his size.

Chaney is thinking, "So many pumpkins, which one do I pick?"

And...What would a day with Hank be without a "Hank look." So here it is.
