One of our favorite things to do as a family is take an evening walk. We don't do this every night but we try most nights. Paislee usually gets stuck in the stroller or wagon and the older either walk, run, ride a bike or any variation of all three. Some nights our walks turn into games of tag, follow the leader, racing, or just a good time to talk. On our usual route there is a ditch (or as the kids call it "the water") and we often visit it and throw rocks. This summer we found that their is a rather large frog that lives down there. (And by rather large frog I mean about the size of my hand) He is usually sitting on the bank and becomes the target of rock throwing.

What a scowl! I'm guessing she is mad at someone. If you'll notice the side of her lip curls up. What we have found out is that lip determines how much attitude she has...the higher the lip, the more attitude. She has done a good job of keeping it in check.

They are picking out rocks to throw...

...and picking rocks out of her flip flops.

Tuck tries to get the biggest rocks for the biggest splash (lately "the water" hasn't had much water in it because of the drought)

"The Water"

Throwing rocks makes a girls thirsty

Paislee's feet...her feet tell the story....just nice and relaxing.
