On this day 11 years ago we said "I do." It's amazing what has happened in that time span. I'm so glad he is still my partner in this life we lead. I could not imagine a better man to be my husband and a better father for our kids. He takes such good care of us.
Since we are party animals we decided for a night on the town (insert sarcasm.) Actually, we did go out but far from the party animals. We dropped the kids at Dad and Barbara's and went to dinner at Fire by the Monon. After a nice, quiet, slow-paced dinner we walked the Monon for a bit. (the temp was still like 95* and like 300% humidity) Since it was so hot we used this as an easy excuse to cool off with some ice cream from Brics. The ice cream was delicious and the company was perfect.

While we were out Dad's neighborhood was having a neighborhood party. The kids enjoyed a bounce house, face painting, hamburgers and hot dogs. They went back to the house and played baseball in their face painting. With the heat and humidity their paint was running with the sweat on their face. They looked like a Halloween project.
I'm sure now you understand why they needed a bath immediately. They all had fun and enjoyed their time with papaw and mamaw and we enjoyed the evening out.
