Today our littlest man is nine months old. His sweet personality and easy going demeanor bring so many smiles to our face. He loves to hang out and play with his siblings. He is seriously one happy dude. When he gets up in the morning and after nap time the first thing he does is look for his siblings. He loves them so much. They make him laugh, sometimes cry, they play with him and he gets into their things like true little brothers should.
He has two teeth on top, two on bottom and is working on getting another one to come in on the bottom right. It seems like at this age they are just teething all the time. He does his best to find anything he can to chew on to help push the teeth through.
He is starting to eat more table food. He does mostly still get baby food just so we can see how much food he is actually getting. He is getting better at feeding himself puffs and smaller pieces of food. This month he had a small peanut butter sandwich and had no reaction to it so he has officially "mom approved" to eat pb & j's with the rest of the bunch. He is doing better with a sippy cup. He has a few of the Nuby ones that are the plastic tips. He has figured out to bite that and get water. Usually what we do is fill it with ice and water and it becomes a perfect chew toy because of the coldness on it. Sometimes he forgets it's a sippy and chokes himself with it. He'll learn....someday!
He is still crawling everywhere and is now pulling up....everywhere! Being this mobile now really allows him to get involved with picking on his siblings more when they are trying to hide something from him on the couch or chairs. He loves the stairs and follows the kids when they go up. He has climbed up one stair once and apparently has forgotten how he did it because he hasn't done it since. He does know how to fall down the stairs, this we know. In Gatlinburg he fell down a whole flight of carpeted stairs.
He is doing well sleeping and we have really gotten into a good routine. He is still taking two naps a day, a morning and afternoon nap. His bedtime is right around 8. Sometimes if he is tired before that and I don't get a chance to feed him he will just fall asleep on the floor, see the pic below. He seems to really like his bed. We did have to lower his bed this past month because he is standing up in it now. He is still getting up at least once to eat in the night. He will usually sleep in til 7:30-8 and sometimes 8:30. Some mornings he gets up and just plays in bed for a while.
He loves to have his picture taken and tries to grab the iPod/iPad when we are doing it. If I have the big camera out then he really doesn't care about that. He loves to play in the pool and enjoys his bath time. He does have this squeal that drives me crazy. The scream comes when he is playing, when someone is picking on him, when he wants more food or when he wants mom. Basically, it's for everything.
He loves to play with balls...footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, baseballs...loves them. He likes to pound on them like he is playing the drums. When he is inside he likes to push them and roll them around the floor. He does have an ornery streak too, but what little boy doesn't. When the big kids are watching cartoons he likes to crawl up their back and pull their hair and pat their head. He knows what he is doing because he tries to look around at their face and see what they are doing. It's actually really cute right now but in a few more months they will be over it.

Great pictures! He's adorable!
