Crowder Concert

My friend, and running partner, Nicole invited me to go to the State Fair tonight.  David Crowder was on the free stage and it may or may not have been $2 Tuesdays.  We dodged some traffic, actually a lot of traffic, and found our way to some seats that someone saved for us.  We were six rows back and enjoyed an awesome concert.  David and his band broke up earlier this year so his "band" was a hodge podge of other people.  Caedman Call's drummer was his drummer and he had a local girl playing the cello.  They sounded just as good as his band.  To make the night more exciting Nicole's gas light came on while we sat in traffic.  When I say "sat" in traffic, I means like almost 45 minutes of sitting.  I really thought I was going to be pushing her car into the gas station.  Good news is we made it and I didn't have to push.

My cousin Taylor was there also and found David Crowder out wandering around the fair and got their picture taken with him.  As young folks do, they flocked to the stage, so Taylor went up and got another picture.  The old(er) person that I am stayed back and enjoyed resting or sitting once or twice.

The video below is of one of my favorite songs that he sings.  I love this song!

  1. Awesome song! Glad you made it there without pushing Nicole's car. That would've been a good workout though. ;-)
